Tingsek, from Malmö in the south of Sweden, started his musical career at the age of 13.
Playing the drums and singing Depeche Mode songs together with his older brother
Anders in the basement of his school.
He went on playing in Swedish bands such as EPs Trailer Park, Loosegoats, Ben until 2005
when he released his self entitled solodebut “Tingsek” (via V2 Records / Universal).
“Tingsek” was followed by the album “World Of Its Own” in 2006, “Too Many Feelings at The Same Time” in 2008.
In 2009 Tingsek left Universal music and started his own label WORLD OF ITS OWN RECORDINGS.
The first release from the record company was the forth release of Tingsek: “Restless Soul”.
Once again he set sail for a musical quest/voyage/adventure where everybody is invited onboard.
Just like on his previous albums he gives a presentation of the world according to him :
a one man show where Tingsek is the conductor of it all; artistry, music and production.
As usual an entourage of friends have joined him on the new album and among them
are well known faces like Chords, Emmi, MĂĄns Mernsten, Thomas Ebrelius and, for the first time,
Slakah The Beatchild from Toronto/Canada.
