NAT JENKINS

For the past four months – in between various tours – Nat Jenkins has been in residency at The Scopitone Club. His guest bands have included The Kooks, Johnny Flynn, Josh Weller, Rodeo Massacre and many more.

On March 6th Nat celebrates his single debut single release of ‘ The Message’ with us before taking of tour the United States. He has brought two of his favorite London bands with him.

THE MUSICAL DIFFERENCES

The musical differences are a London ‘ super group’ made up of The Holloways, The Paddingtons and The More Assured. Having formed early 2009 the band are making major waves through the London underground scene. They play a mix of indie, folk and Clash inspired punk. Check their myspace page for collaborations with The Rolling Stone’s Ronnie Wood and London songster Frank Turner. 2010 is set to be a big year for the Musical Differences.

THE SMOKY ANGLE SHADES

The Smoky Angle Shades play their debut Paris show before taking off with Nat to this year’s South by South West Festival in Austin Texas. Formed in 2009 the band play rock and roll with an emphasis on four part harmonies. The Mirror has this to say about them -’ Imagine The Faces crossed with The Band in a world where The Libertines have made their mark’.

For good time harmonic rock and roll music and inspired original songwriting London has no parallel.
